In Black & White . . .

Soulful eyes, doling out those sweet memories
yester-years, flew fast and yet they last,
look up, my little child,
for your future is full of colour,
father, mother, grandpa & grandma,
await your smile everyday,
from name collages to raggedly smiles
you awaken younger years in their lives,
look up as they do to you,
you are the pearl of their oyster world
glow, glimmer and grow
I only see pride on every brow.
